Hi Mat
This was my first visit to NZ. The hosted weeks with Fly Odyssey were a perfect introduction for anyone wanting an authentic and high quality NZ experience. With the help of local guides and Mat and Paul’s expertise, I had fast tracked learning on spotting fish in fast clear rivers, stalking, catching and playing big powerful fish. This really set me up for the 2 weeks DIY fishing that I had planned following the hosted weeks.
This, together with the great accommodation, delicious fresh food and good company from the other anglers made it a trip of a lifetime. A perfect start to my new retired status!
Finally, I needed to bring forward my departure flight at short notice to due unexpected serious illness in one of my relatives. The Fly Odyssey staff were fantastic in arranging this for me – working over the weekend to ensure the new flight was sorted. It was outstanding customer service.
