World-class fisheries abound and fly fishermen are spoilt for choice. De Havilland Beaver floatplanes transport eager anglers to dozens of rivers through Wood-TikChik Park and the Togiak National Wildlife Refuge. The deck of Bristol Bay Lodge also offers exceptional fishing right from the shore with the Agulawok and Agulukpak rivers providing productive fishing for a wide range of species.

Bristol Bay Lodges offers luxurious accommodation and has previously been ranked as one of the best fishing lodges in the world.

The main lodge provides a professional kitchen, dining room, lounge with a fire place, bar, library, a well-equipped fly-tying bench, a fully-stocked fly and tackle shop as well as 8 spacious guest bedrooms.

There are also four private cabins located throughout the grounds, and two private camps. The lodge also features a hot tub and sauna for guests to unwind during their stay.

The meals at the lodge are fantastic as you would expect with a great variety of dining options. Breakfasts are made to order each morning with muffins, cold and hot cereals, toast, fruit, bacon, sausage, eggs and other options available to suit your preferences.

Lunches are taken or prepared while on the river and often feature fish or meats cooked over an open fire. A sandwich bar is available at the lodge where its recommended anglers make a sandwich for a late morning or afternoon snack.

Returning to the lodge each day, aperitifs and cocktails are available with a two-course meal prepared by the chef. Choices typically which consist of either steak, prime rib, crab legs, halibut, fresh salmon, pork or chicken.

Utilising their De Havilland Beaver float planes and Jet-boats each day, Bristol Bay Lodge offers anglers an incredible range of fishing options with six different spectacular regions to fish with access to virtually any river in the Bristol Bay region.

The week is generally split into a mixture of fishing from the lodge, with two nights in the wilderness camps, providing a different fishing location throughout your stay to ensure a genuine Alaskan experience.

Fly fishing from the lodge via Jet boats on two of Alaska’s most renowned fisheries – The Agulawok and Agulukpak rivers, they provide some of the most productive fishing for Rainbo Trout, Arctic Char, Grayling and Dolly Varden.

Additionally, these rivers provide one of the largest sockeye salmon runs anywhere in the world as they return to the Wood-Tikchick lake system each season.

The Birch Creek Camp provides all five species of Pacific Salmon, Trout, big Grayling and a sea-run population of Dolly Varden. While Rainbo Camp located on tidal water from the Bering Sea, provides the opportunity to fish to fresh-run salmon which completes this authentic Alaskan fly fishing experience.

It is recommended that anglers bring their own equipment including rods, reels, waders, flies and terminal tackle. An Alaska Fishing License is required, which are easily purchased online with the Alaska Department of Fish and Game.

A wide range of international and domestic airlines fly into Ted Stevens International Airport in Anchorage (ANC) Alaska. From Anchorage, Bristol Bay Lodge arranges their own morning charter flight to Dillingham where staff will meet guests for transfer to the lodge.
