The Pineapple House, furnished with fine art, antiques and collection of Bahamian décor is the central gathering point where guests can enjoy fine dining, cocktails and several relaxation areas. A white sand path off the garden terrace, leads to a heated, fresh water pool edged in towering Silver Palms as well as a Tiki Bar with open grill that regularly hosts torch-lit, Bahamian beachside banquets enlivened by select local performers.
With three miles of private beaches, tennis courts and indoor as well as outdoor dining, a freshwater swimming pool, tennis courts, PADI dive center and great flats fishing, Kamalame Cay Resort is perfect for both anglers and non-anglers alike. The highlight is the over the water spa, featuring five treatment rooms, perched at the end of a 200ft pier with stunning views, and gentle sea breezes.
The food and dining is at the heart of the Kamalame Cay experience. Menus showcase local fish, seafood, top tier imported game, imported fowl, accented with fine wines and spirits. Locally sourced fresh tropical fruit and produce are also provided, reflecting a graceful fusion of classic Caribbean cuisine with elegant modern twists.
The Bahamas and Andros are often referred to as the ‘Bonefishing Capital’ of the world, with Kamalame Cay providing the perfect environment to enjoy some flats fishing while on vacation with your partner or family.

There is an abundant amount of water with excellent Bonefishing right on the back of the Cay. In addition, there are also nearby creeks and flats that stretch out to Majestic Point offering excellent wading and sight-fishing opportunities.
The Bonefish in this region are renowned for being some of the largest in the Bahamas with an average size of four pounds in weight. However, fish from five to nine pounds are encountered regularly and there is a genuine opportunity of making contact within a larger fish into double figures that work the shoreline. ‘Catch and Release’ is the practice at the resort and the use of barbless hooks is encouraged.
As a complete contrast to the Bonefishing, the resort also offers big game fishing in the Bluewater. About a hundred yards off the coast of Kamalame Cay Resort, there is the world’s third largest barrier reef. The deep waters are alive with a variety of marine predators and sport fish. Using the islands 24ft Centre console Pathfinder sports boat, anglers can book either a full or half day trip and can target Blue Marlin, Dorado, Wahoo, King Mackerel, Tuna, Barracuda, Grouper and Shark, depending on the season.
A typical day on the water starts around 8:00am and finishes at 5:00pm but this can vary to suit conditions and your preferences.

There are various international flight options either direct or via US or Canada to Nassau. The resort is then accessed via a short boat transfer.
